two way amazing queen cave inside the silent valley of bastar

Bastar is full of tourist centres, yet tourists are unable to reach these tourist centers due to lack of access road and means, or even though these tourist centers are level, these tourist centers are unknown or little known. As an example of such natural mysteries, there is also a name of 'Rani Cave'.

Generally, the category of land tourism centers, aquatic tourism centers or geo-tourism centers are found in tourist areas, but there is immense potential for tourism in Bastar. Where the names of Barsur, Kanker, Gaddhanora, Baddongar, Bastar, Samloor, Bhairamgarh, Dantewada etc. are leading among the land tourism centers with many archaeological or cultural splendor, there is a long chain of waterfalls like Chitrakot, Tirathgarh, Mandwa Charre-Mare etc. .

Among the geological tourist centers are the world famous Kotamsar cave, Aranyak cave, Dandak, Kailash, Tular, Sakalnarayan caves etc. In this sequence, the 'Rani Gufa' of Chitapur and the Bade Rani Gufa have their own special place. On Jagdalpur to Geedam road, just 10 kms from the block headquarter. The village is Chitapur under the far Darbha block. There is a small hill Tekri in the outer part of the village through unpaved road and rocky road.

On the other hand the village is surrounded by a long chain of high hills, which is covered by dense forests. According to the villagers, there is a huge cave in this big hill, which is called 'Badi Rani Gufa'. According to Shruti, during the earthquake in this big queen cave, the revolutionaries had spent up to two months underground to the detriment of two thousand. There is a huge chamber in this cave, and even today ancient weapons and weapons are safe in a part of this cave.

The priest Patel and only a few special people of the village have knowledge about this cave, and normally they do not tell anyone about the cave route. Apart from this, the small Rani cave is located in the hilly Chatani Tekri - which is near the stone quarry. The biggest feature of this cave is that it has two entrances and both the routes are covered by dense trees and vines of the mountain. After entering inside through this entrance, the inner path is easy.

At some places the height is quite low, while in some places the upper ceiling of the cave is as high as 40 feet. The high platform in the center of the corridor-shaped hall is naturally made of rocky stones, with a hierarchical slope, through which the top can be reached.

In this platform, just above the Shivling, there is a large subshell composition, in the upper terrace, the compositions like the fine marble chandelier of the subsoil are very beautiful.

From the tips of these Lingakriti compositions, white and white water always drips. Apart from this, compositions like five other Shivling are also built in this central hall. This central hall is at a distance of 75 feet from the entrance. In this central hall, there is a pool filled with clean water on one side. This water tank is deep, and the passage of a part of the cave goes through the same water tank. Further, the path through the water tank has become narrow.

One can easily take bath in this water tank. The water seeping from the rocky walls of the cave also flows in the form of a stream. The center of the man is so big that it can easily accommodate two-and-a-half hundred persons at a time. Since the cave is two-way, the air here is plentiful and there is no suffocation at all like other caves. According to local legend, Chitapur village has been the capital of kings for a long time, then the queen used to come to bathe in the water tank of this cave and worshiped the Shivling installed in the central chamber of the cave, hence the name of this cave. The 'Rani Cave' is lying. Ranigufa can be an attractive tourist destination for tourists interested in geological mysteries.

There are high grade calcium stone rocks near the hill Tekri of this 'cave' area, whose excavation work is being done. For the purpose of preserving this natural cave, excavation work should be restricted towards this hill. There is a lack of access road to this hill.

So about 2-3 kms. Tourists can tour Ranigufa Chitapur, making their rest arrangements at the district headquarters. It will also be necessary to keep the arrangement of food, refreshments and pageal with the tourist. The route to this cave can be easily covered by two wheelers and four wheelers. Only one and a half kilometer. One has to walk the distance to the cave. Since Rani Gufa is 32 km from Jagdalpur under the Geological Tourist Place.

Tours can be done here at any time except in the rainy season. Villagers do not give much information about Rani Cave, so taking a knowledgeable regional person along with them would be appropriate. The ruins of 'Mandwa Falls', Vishwakarma temple at Dhodharepal, located nearby can also be included in the tour package of 'Rani Caves' as a group tour. Ranigufa, being less aesthetic than other beautiful caves of Bastar, Aranyak, Kailash, Dandak, Kotamsar, is amazing due to being a two-way cave. Along with this, the group of 6 Shivlings, water particles dripping from the ceiling on these Shivlings, deep water tank in the central hall, historical things about the queen's bathing place and place of worship, gives this cave a wonderful look. Ranigufa has its own special place in geological tourist places and after the tourist 'Ranigufa', the image and features of this place are always on their mind.
